Suzanne Dow, 77, of Decatur, IL passed away at 3:31 p.m. on Thursday (June 24, 2010) in Heartland Healthcare Center of Decatur.
Graveside services will be held at a later date. Dawson & Wikoff North Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Dow was born on August 13, 1932 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Irvin and Arawana (Rich) Sensenbaugh. She was a homemaker, a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church, involved with the Masonic Lodge with her husband John, and worked for General Electric until 1953. She married John Foster Dow on November 19, 1950. He preceded her in death on October 18, 2008.
Surviving is her son: Greg (Pat) Dow of Decatur, IL; step-daughter: Jodi (Dave) Rufus of Decatur, IL; grandchildren: Jen (Jim) Butler of Sheboygan, WI and Jeremy Dow of Sheboygan, WI; step-granddaughter: Natalie (Josh Reed) Rufus of Warrensburg, IL; great grandchildren: Gavin Butler, Haley Butler and Courtney (Jamie) Theobald; step-great grandson: Zeth Reed.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Greg and family just wanted to say how sorry I am about your mothers passing. I never new her in person, only by phone and she was always very nice to me.
